Death punishment is also known as capital punishment it is generaly for those who are guilty of crimes like murder. In india the way of awarding this punishment is hanging by neck till his death. in other countries it is little different, like shooting, electric chair, and so on.
Though the tradition of death punishment is a age long but now there is a huge buzz related to that. It is said that capital punishment is brutal as it takes the life of the criminal without giving him a cahnce to correct him self. Or it is offeten named as law of jungle i.e eye for an eye.
It is said that capital punishment is nothing but a judicial murder, espacially when an innocent life is taken.
with this much of hue and cry the capital punishment has gone to very declined rate. Even india has ristricted the capital punishment.
But if one looks to the other side of the coin where a capital punishment is doing a good job by removing not only criminal even the feeling of it. As life is the thing which each and every creature of this earth is concern about. a death sentence will surely put the criminal to give a thought on his act before doing that and he will definately try to go for a good alternative before commiting a crime, and this fact is clearly visible espacially in muslim countries where crime rate is quite low.
At last there is much truth in such voiews, and they must be given due weightage before a decision is taken to abolish or retain capital punishment.
