Khawaja Farooq Renzushah, while addressing-Scoop News
Srinagar, September 01(Scoop News)-“keeping in view the Spiritual, Historical and Heritage importance of Shahar I Khas, the international heritage status should be bestowed to entire Srinagar Shahar I Khas City” said Khawaja Farooq Renzushah, while addressing the function of Shahar –i-Khas citizens at annual celebration of Khwaja Faqir Sheikh Abdul Gani (RA) Kathi Darwaza near Makhdoom Sahab. The function was organized by Sufi cultural trust.
Renzushah was accorded rousing reception by thousands of citizens present on the occasion. While welcoming him, the president of Sufi cultural trust , Khawaja Mir Mushtaq said that people of Shae-i-Khas shall remember that Renzushah renamed downtown as shar-i-khas, and played key role in building historical shrine of Hazrat Bulbul Shah. He said that his contribution as administrator for linking Budgam and Srinagar through Bemina bridge and building of Khan-kah- Panah at Chari Shareef are remarkable.
While speaking mammoth gathering of thousands Mr. Renzushah , pointed out that time has come to get international heritage status for Shar-i-khas ,on basis of its thousands of years long historical records, and sites, which are required to be further explored and developed.
He said that it was Shah Naimat-ullah- Qadri whose predictions in world history are known of proving true. Similarly Sheikh- ul- Alam contributed such spiritual literature which is based on love and brotherhood. Sheikh Ul Alam international Airport name was given but it is unfortunate that it is yet to be implemented. He advised the national channels to stoop malicious propaganda against real ethos of Kashmir & and do not try to point its image as intolerant society. He said that Kashmir is the name of proud civilization and with the strong belief of love and sacrifices we have taught world the real secular character. This is because of our age old teachings inculcated by our proud spiritual saints and proud intellectuals of the society since time immemorial.
