The national capital continued to shiver today as the minimum temperature once again plummeted to the season’s lowest of 4.4 degree Celsius.

"The minimum temperature in the capital is likely to rise by three-four degree Celsius after 36 hours (December 19)," a Met official said adding there was a possibility of scattered rains during December 20 and 21.
The temperature today settled at a low of 4.4 degree Celsius, which was the same as on Sunday. Yesterday’s minimum was recorded at 4.6 degree Celsius.
The yesterday’s maximum was recorded at 21 degree Celsius, three notches below normal.
At the airports, the flights took off as per schedule due to the clear visibility with sun shining since morning.
There was no fog related delay in train operations too.
