Demonstrations,Processions around Jammu civil secretariat banned

 

Jammu, October 28 (Scoop News) –The district administration Jammu has imposed ban on taking out of processions around Civil Secretariat and roads and crossings passing along the secretariat complex.

As per an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner Jammu,  M K Dwivedi, the ban will come in force from November 8, 2010 and continue for next two months or till rescinded, whatever is earlier.

The areas where the taking out of procession, other than marriage and funeral, have been imposed are Bajaj Tower to Amar Filling Station, on Flyover from Police Control Room to District Institute of Education and Tarining , behind New secretariat , On Fly Over from Maheshpura  Chowk to District Institute of Education and Training, Rotary behind New secretariat to the main complex.

                Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner has also put a ban on passing of vehicles from Radio Station Chowk to Deputy Commissioner’s Office, dumping of garbage from Panjthirthi to Sidhra bridge and along

Circular Road
upto Deputy Commissioner’s office, parking of vehicles from Peer Mitha police Station to Deputy Commissioner’s office.

                Similarly, the Deputy Commissioner has banned dumping of garbage and butcheries around    Air Force Compound wall and Civil Airport wall as such material is deem to hazardous for the smooth landing and takeoff of the Aircrafts from the twin airports.

                The order issued reads” no person, persons , party shall dump, throw any kind of Malba, carcasses, refuse around the Air Force and Civil Airport compound wall. Any person found guilty in this regard shall be booked under law”.  

Likewise, the deputy Commissioner has also imposed a ban on the sale, storage and procurement of combat clothes, readymade combat dresses by any unauthorized person in an unregulated manner.

                The order has put certain conditions on such purchases, sale and storage of such clotting material.
