Deven Trabosh recently logged on to Ebay and Craigslist trying to sell her four-bedroom home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. There was a catch however. For an extra $500,000, a buyer could also purchase Trabosh’s love, a single mom and real-estate agent.
Ebay has a policy against selling human beings, but that isn’t getting Deven Trabosh down. A number of men have contacted her with interest and requested that they meet. She also has her fair share of detractors, but Deven Trabosh isn’t letting them get her down either. "I’m not selling myself. I’m selling love…to meet that true love," she says.
In an effort to find love, stay in the house she loves and, even if she won’t admit it, to make some money, Deven Trabosh is making headlines with her novel marketing idea. With the housing market in the pits and eight years of unsuccessful dating behind her, Trabosh’s plan might just work.
