DGP visits Hazratbal, reviews arrangements for Eid-ul-Azha

 

 

Srinagar, November 06 (Scoop News) – On his arrival at Srinagar from Jammu today, the Director General of Police, . Kuldeep Khoda convened a high level meeting of  Police, Para-Military Forces and Civil Administration officers at Police Control Room here this evening to discuss security, Police Bandobast, law and order and traffic arrangements in the Kashmir Valley in connection with the Eid-ul-Azha festival.

The DGP sought reports from the concerned officers about the law and order, security and traffic arrangements made for this festival.

. Khoda was briefed by the Special DG CRPF, ADGP, Armed/Law and Order, IGP, Kashmir and other senior Police, Para-Military and civil administration officers about these arrangements.

The DGP instructed that all the required arrangements be made at all the places where Eid congregations are held to facilitate the people. He directed for special deployment of police personnel at important locations so that people do not face any inconvenience during the festival.

Later, . Khoda along with ADGP, Armed/Law and Order, IGP Kashmir, DIG CKR, SSP Srinagar, SP Security Kashmir and other Police officers had a round of Srinagar city and Hazratbal area. He instructed the officers to make requisite arrangements in regard to security, parking, traffic management etc. at Hazratbal to facilitate the people.

Among those who participated in the meeting included IG CRPF, Operations, Kashmir, IG CRPF, Administration, Kashmir, IGP, Crime, DIG, Anantnag, DIG CID, Kashmir, Additional Commissioner, Kashmir and Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar.
