Defense Housing Authority urged for refunding of rejected applicants.
CHITRAL: Defense Housing Authority (DHA) was urged for early
refunding of payment through Askari Banks. Defense Housing Authority
has announced of DHA homes advertised in different newspapers. As they
had announced that under their DHA housing schemes they will allot
single storey house of 5 Marla and double story house consisting of 7
Marla plot was available @ rupees 4.2 million. Hundred of applicant’s
paid 1.5 lac rupees with down payment in Nov 2008 draw. But payment
(in advance with down payment) of those applicants whose applications
were rejected are still pending at Askari Banks. Dr. Jehansoz and a
number of applicants said while talking to local journalists that when
we contacting Askari Bank for refunding of our payment they practicing
delay tactics with one or other pretext. They said that a few people
defaming this organization only for the sack of some money as they
getting markup from bank on the deposited amount. People belonging to
all walks of life have requested to high ups of Defense Housing
Authority and Askar Bank for early refunding payment of people whose
applications were rejected for allotment of plot (house) so as to
enable them to purchase piece of land at some other suitable place.
