Jammu, December 23 (Scoop News) – Minister for Technical, Medical Education and Youth Services and Sports Rajinder Singh Chib today condoled the sad demise of Ex-MLA Dhanraj Bargotra.
In his condolence message, Chib said that Bargotra a leader of masses who always fought for the cause of poor and downtrodden people of the society. He said with the death of Bargotra a vacuum has been created which cannot be filled. He said the loss of Bargotra to the society is irreparable.
He expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
It may be mentioned that former MLA, MLC and State unit Janata Dal (Secular) president Dhanraj Bargotra breathed his last on Saturday evening at GMC, Jammu. He was 84.
He is survived by his wife Kamal Kanta and three sons and one daughter and son-in Law.
Born on 28th September 1928 in Jammu he started his career as dedicated worker, later on as state leader in Praja Socialist Party Jammu. He also served as President Timber Trader Association Jammu and after serving as representative of rural masses he was elected as MLA in 1977 to 1983 and as MLC from 1998 to 2000. In between he served as special Political advisor to then governor Jagmohan. He possessed sound health but few days back his was hospitalized and later he breathed his last on Saturday.
