Dhoni says he is happy with batting effort

"Everyone contributed to the victory. Gautam and Raina played their part and shared a fine partnership and then Yuvraj got a start, while I and Rohit Sharma did well towards the end. So, overall it was a very good performance," said Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni

"I was just okay. It was Gambhir and Raina who laid the solid foundation and made it easier for us. Nevertheless, I am happy with our batting effort."

"They did not panic at all. It was not a very easy wicket but we couldn’t keep the pressure on the Indians," said Sri Lankan skipper Mahela Jayawardene.

"The wicket slowed down but we couldn’t capitalise on it properly, while we also failed to put on pressure on India," said Jayawardene.

"The wicket eased out towards the afternoon but Indian spinners really did well to contain during the middle overs."
