Dictatorship in Pakistan is against US Interest

On international media a journalist while interviewing Pakistan’s ambassador in USA had said that one-man rule in Pakistan make it convenient for US and its western allies to make deals with military dictator of Pakistan, eminent journalist of India Mr. Quldip Nayer had mentioned in his recent article that Indian leadership also feels that dealing with a dictatorial ruler of Pakistan is much more easier then dealing with democratically elected leadership of Pakistan.

In fact military rule in Pakistan is harmful for vital US interest in Pakistan and for its allies too, dictator when make deals at international level due to his illegitimate rule his dealings are not sanctioned by the people of Pakistan, thus all the treaties made by illegitimate dictators of Pakistan from international law point of view are also not binding upon people of Pakistan or their democratically elected leadership, according to a report published on groundreport.com US tax payers 10 billion dollars were invested in Pakistan during nine years of Musharaf regime, the writer will be astonished to know that dictator was unable to promote US interest in south Asia region, he had established IT universities and universities which only concentrate on natural sciences, in the long run which can pose potent threat not only to USA but to the rest of the world too, people in tribal areas of NWFP and Baluchistan provinces had fought US war against soviets in Afghanistan but now they up in arms against US lead NATO forces in Afghanistan, and also attacking US and Pakistan Army and civilian targets in Pakistan.

Dictators can not make long lasting deals and can not secure interest of any super power in Pakistan, I have studied the nature of my own people, they are peace loving but can not bear tyranny of any dictator and his US and western supporters, USA can better protect its interest in Pakistan by supporting popularly elected leadership of Pakistan, any attempt to impose martial law in Pakistan will further aggravate the situation in Afghanistan, people of Pakistan once deprived of their fundamental rights will be further compelled to fight against supporters of tyrants, its is a well known fact that without support in general public no Army can win any war, with establishment of elected government of PPPP lead coalition terrorists are loosing popularity in public, if again martial law is imposed in Pakistan, terrorists will become popular again, their shall be a difference between US supported government and terrorists if both are oppressive and tyrants then people have no choice but to choose a lesser evil.
