Died in Vain.

They serve in their capacity as soldiers to the best of their ability to protect and defend the constitution of the United States. And neither do they complain when they are ordered to serve in Iraq or Afghanistan. Those brave and fine American soldiers perform with valour. And they do not argue about the merits of the action in Iraq or Afghanistatn, instead they leave those matters to the political leaders of the United States.   

The fact of the matter is that their efforts are for nothing and they have died in vain. I do not dishonor their service or their heroic deaths, instead, I am protesting the wasteful manner, of their service in an unpopular war.    The president of the United States, pretends that terrorists are kept away from American shores as long as young brave American soldiers die in Iraq and Afghanistan. He pretends that brave American soldiers dying in Iraq or suffering horrific and devasting injuries such as amputations of limbs guarantees that the terrorists will stay away.    

The cowards in the senate and house of representatives are the true terrorists for refusing to stand up to the president and ordering a withdrawal of troops out of Iraq. They do have a face saving alternative to ordering a withdrawal. They have the option of drawing up Articles of Impeachment of the president of the United States.  It is time that congress brought this national nightmare to a swift ending.
