Disable, snub, neglected and affected person offer to sell his life.
ATTOCK: A disable person who frustrated from this society announced to sell out his life and to save his two daughters, wife and aged mother. Malik Meher Muhammad told this scribe on telephone from Attock that he was serving in Great Wall Drilling Company from China. On 17.5.2005 he faced an great incidence as a result he lost his right leg and disabled for ever. According to labor laws he was entitle to gain benefit of $250000. But he was given only 280000 and was pressurized to sign the receipt form by admin account manager of the company. He was also removed from service on account of disability on the assurance that he will be reappointed as his post as and when he enable to walk. He said that when I visited the office in February, 2007 they snub me and told me that you are a disable person and we can not hire you again thus I was snub by them and frustrated Malik Meher said. As well as the administration manager also rejected my request that we have agreement with you that you would be appointed again on recovery of your health.
He said that in the year 2008 I learnt they cheated me and deprived me from my right. He said that I meet Inspector of Mine and he also admired that me have been ignored and deprived from my right but we can do nothing because of maintaining Pak China Friendship and if we take any action against the company it might be caused for deteriorating of Pak China Friendship. He said that I also approached to Labor lawyer but I have nothing to pay his fee and thus my case was not processed in the court he added. He said that I also sent legal notice but no action was taken on my plea. He also approached ILO (International Labor Organization) and even I approached Amnesty International for justice but I was very much snub and frustrated from all these organizations.
Malek Meher also sent applications to federal Minister Petroleum, Chief Minister Punjab and two applications for justice but me still waiting for genuine right. He appeal to President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani for financial support and bestowing him some suitable job from disable quota so as to gain livelihood for his two children, wife and aged mother.
