Divya Prerna Prakash Competition – 1.3 Million Students took part – Results are out! Feb 3, 2010 | Opinion, World Share Tweet Pin G Plus Email December 25, 2009, at Surat ashram, Sant Shri Asaram Bapuji declared result for a competition that was held throughout various Indian Schools. The competition name was : DVIYA PRERNA PRAKASH PARTIYOGITA. Simple aim of this competition was to build confidence in the building blocks of our beloved nation INDIA. That’s is to say, to enrich the lives of our students with self control, discipline and confidence. The data released by the Ashram was no where less than a record breaking achievement. In an estimate, around thirteen lakh, seven thousand, six hundered and fort nine (13, 07, 649) students appeared in this competition. Also, around twelve thousand, one hundered and fifteen (12, 115) schools were part of this competition. DVIYA PRERNA PRAKASH PARTIYOGITA is very well known among the students and Asaram bapu followers as DPP. The process followed during this competition period was also really simple but highly effective. Volunteers, mainly disciples of Sant Asaram bapu ji participated very actively in making this competition a successful competition. The competition primarily checked the understanding of the students on those facts which are critical for turning themselves into a responsible citizen. Soon, I will be providing more details of this highly simple and effective way of creating the responsible citizens. Divya Prerna Prakash Competition Results The Divya Prerna Prakash Jnan Pratiyogita was organized under the auspices of Pujya Bapuji and thanks to the godly efforts of Yoga Vedanta Seva Samities and Sadhakas. The number of students participating in this competition increased from 4,55,000 last year to 13,07,649 this year. 13,07,649 students from 12,115 schools took part in the competition. The national level exams took place in the course of Surat Shivir on 26th December 2009, wherein students from various states participated with great zeal & enthusiasm. The first three students had the good fortune of receiving gold medals, cash and other prizes from the lotus hands of Pujya Bapuji. The next ten students were given silver medals and prizes. Delhi Metro Samiti and Pune (Mah.) Samiti were given first prize for registering the highest number of students and Chhindwara (M.P.) and Khargon (M.P.) Samities were awarded second and third prizes respectively. Another 410 students were given consolation prizes. On the regional level, 34,402 students are being awarded prizes for meritorious performance and 4,169 schools for excellent organization of competition. Source: http://www.ashram.org
