Dogs strike to their pet parents: What are their demands on diet?

“Your doggies health is your health” This is not the old saying or some famous person quote, but it’s a fact. Doggies can build your agility and health. As you spend time with your doggy, you would walk, trot, run over the garden in leisure time.

Faster the metabolism, faster is the burning of excess calories and fat. Many reports of physicians reveal that pet owners have lesser chances of cardiac health issues. So, like a faithful pet parent, we must take great care of dog’s diet.

Dog’s demands for their diet

You must select the raw, healthy, nutritious homemade recipes for dog’s diet. Doggies love fresh foods, and hence they deny commercial pet foods. This is the reason why your doggy always sniffs at your food bowl in your dinner. Fresh food contains 70% moisture, and hence it helps digestion. The fresh foods are more aromatic than packed foods. Doggies are more attracted to aromatic foods.

You must practice rotational diets. Not that doggies always love meat, chick, lamb or salmon. Even they need a change in diet plan. Try some safe veggies and fruits like green beans, carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, apple, orange, berries and much more. You must practice these rotational diet plan for your doggies with distinct veggies, fruits, spices.

Avoid garlic, onion, flavored, salted, preserved foods. Yes, sodium can cause blot, preservative, garlic, onion, chocolate, oily foods can cause stomach upset and digestive problems. You need not serve your doggy meat and fish all day, but be sure that you are not serving them harmful diets.

Be at prescribed limits in all diets. Doggies will always fetch for excess food, but as you love them don’t shower them with foods. You can provide them treats instead of meat or chick. Over protein can upset your doggies stomach to a great extent. Stay at limits and keep them fit!

Avoid human foods with roasting, chocolate, grapes, raisins, and spices. You can prepare some tasty, healthy, nutritious diet plans without any spices or harmful ingredients.

All doggies love fruits, veggies. But, the thing is you must share every food in the rotational plan right from the puppyhood. Even like human beings, doggies like to taste each and everything they sniff, look. Doggies have more taste buds than human and hence share your dining with doggies. But, be in limits and serve only non-toxic pet foods.

Spend some time to make homemade diets to your doggy. Just steam the meat, chick, lamb or veggies you would like to give your doggy. Steaming the food vanishes the parasites, bacteria and other harmful ingredients. Also, the food retains the enzymes, nutrients, vitamins in their original form.

Avoid dehydrated, dried foods to your doggies. As the doggies require 70% moisture in all the foods, they consume. The commercial kibbles, treats have only 12% of moisture to retain the taste and texture. Lack of moisture blocks the GI tract and lowers digestion.

Have a look at the ingredients and composition before purchasing the diets. Balance the prescribed limits of your vet in calories and other nutrients. Don’t feed an excess of calories to your doggies meal plan. Also, have segregation’s and partitions in serving the meal. You can feed your doggy twice or thrice in a day.

Try some healthy treat in the form of veggies, fruits in the training sessions. Instead of spending too much of money in commercial foods, try some raw fruits and veggies in traces. This can build a healthy skin and coat of your doggies.
