Donald Trump not slave to ideology … Pragmatic and confidence

This is probably the first time in American history that a front runner for presidency in a major political party is not subscribing to core tents of his party’s ideology. For where many and others have failed, Donald Trump a man that needs no introduction has succeeded, if not triumphed. He is boastful, bombastic and proud to proclaim himself an outsider and non-politician.

Trump have demonstrated with his winning strips in Republican Party primaries that being a politician can now become a deterrent , if not an obstacle in  securing and winning presidential candidacy in Republican party.  He made being an outsider and unconventional methodology of politicking – attractive and acceptable especially amongst the base of his party.

It will be incorrect to call Trump a wholly conservative loyalist; even himself may not fully accept it because his belief is a concoction of pragmatism, conservatism, liberalism and populism.  Initially, his competitors probably did not see him as heir apparent to party’s princely domain.  But he has proven to them that he understood the act of politics even more than the regular and old-time politicians.

Many might be saying that condition and situation made him, because the populaces are tired of politicians and they want something new and different.  They may also hoist that he exploited the situation to his own greatest benefit.   There might be an element of truism to that speculation. But the whole truth was that Donald Trump with his great salesman pitch was able to open the voters’ eyes and point to them to the supposedly right direction with him as the benefactor.

Trump is a nominal Republican Party member, that wears the party’s outer coat but with his own inner shirt and tire. What drives him is his confidence and pragmatism that he supposedly acquired from his long and beneficial experience in his business endavors. He believes in making deals, even in his campaigns and debates he never ceases to negotiate and makes deal with the American people.

It will be premature to say whether America is ready for a president that is a deal-maker. But if we can count on what we have seen so far, there is no doubt that Trump is bulldozing his way and gradually but steadily making inroads in the hearts of size-able number of Americans. Only time will tell.
