Let’s Continue Dr. Bhim Rao’s Legacy To Fulfill His Vision
Proddatur (GR-TYP-BIN): VITS Principal Dr. N Kumara Swamy said that Dr. BR Ambedkar, being the father of social revolution, had brought in the most effective changes to end social inequalities and evils in the society.
Addressing at the 125th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Dr. BR Ambedkar, organized in Vaagdevei Institute of Technology and Science on April 14, the Principal said that Dr. BR Ambedkar fought throughout his life for the eradication of untouchability and upliftment of the downtrodden and weaker sections. He became the chairman of drafting committee of Indian Constitution to provide constitutional guarantees and protections for equal rights of people.
Dr. N Kumara Swamy stressed that we need to continue Dr. Bhim Rao’s legacy of education, execution and revolution to eradicate social evils. Every student must expand his arena of knowledge both to implement and fulfill the vision of Dr. BR Ambedkar for wide range of civil liberties.
Faculty Members Mr. Lakshmi Kiran and Mr. Prasad spoke on the remarkable facets and achievements of Dr. BR Ambedkar.
Later, the Principal Dr. N Kumara Swamy gave away prizes to the winners of elocution contest. HOD Mr. Rama Mohan, Mr. Seshadri, Faculty Members and Students participated.
