Jammu, December 01 (Scoop News) – BJP Legislators party, Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta today alleged that the President of the National Conference and the Union Minister, Dr. Farooq Abdullah is telling the Indian people that separatist cannot get even an inch of land of Jammu and Kashmir, the son is saying something else by saying that India, Pakistan and the people of this state are stake holder in the dispute. It is a strange phenomenon that who should be trusted.
Chaman Lal Gupta while addressing a gathering at Janipura here today launching the second phase of their agitational programme against the utterances of the chief minister over the issue of accession of the state with Indian Union and opting for a policy for return and rehabilitation of the militants who are there in Pakistan and PoK areas.
He said even after having the oath of the Constitution in which Jammu and Kashmir has been clearly mentioned that it is an integral part of India and its future is not negotiable, Omar Abdullah, despite being the Chief Minister is terming the state as disputed and asserting that the accession was conditional.
He said that Pakistan has no locus standii in Jammu and Kashmir, and its position is only that of an aggressor. As far as the people of the state are concerned, they have repeatedly expressed their lot with India by taking part in over a dozen times in the assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
Prof. Gupta termed the move for return and rehabilitation of the trained ultras as highly dangerous especially when there is no let up in the proxy war that Pakistan has launched in this state against India.
He regretted that instead of attending to the problems facing the masses of the state and rectifying the policies of regional discrimination against Jammu and Ladakh, the coalition of the Congress-NC is indulging in utterances and moves prejudicial to the security and integrity of the country. But the BJP would not tolerate all this and the sacrifices of the nationalists to go waste, the BJP leader asserted.
The gathering was also addressed by Distt. On the occasion the effigy of the Chief Minister was also burnt despite resistance by the police.
