Dr Vijay Kher Conducted Kidney OPD
Jammu, November 09(Scoop News)- Medanta Medicity conducted Nephrology OPD in in continuation to their efforts ,wherein Dr Vijay Kher Chairman Nephrology & Dr Manish Jain Sr Consultant gave their consultations to the patients those suffering from Kidney disease in Jammu Mediconsult Centre . Dr Kher along with Dr Manish Jain seen more than 80 Patients .
It has been observed that in J&K kidney problem in patients are much more in respect to other adjoining states .Dr Kher talking to media told that Acute kidney failure is the rapid loss your kidneys’ ability to remove waste and help balance fluids and electrolytes in your body. In this case, rapid means less than 2 days. Once the cause is found, the goal of treatment is to help your kidneys work again and prevent fluid and waste from building up in the body while they heal. Usually, you have to stay overnight in the hospital for treatment.Dr Kher said that call your health care provider if your urine output slows or stops or you have other symptoms of acute kidney failure.where in for preventions treating disorders such as high blood pressure can help prevent acute kidney failure.
Dr. Vijay Kher is currently Chairman, Division of Nephrology, Medanta Kidney & Urology Institute. Dr Kher has established Academic & Clinical departments of Nephrology at Shere –Kashmir, Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar, SGPGIMS Lucknow, Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, Fortis group of hospitals NCR, Delhi & now at Medanta.
His research interests are kidney transplantation (clinical immunosuppression, pre emptive kidney transplantation & steroid free immunosuppression, cost- containment), progression of renal disease, acute kidney injury and glomerulonephritis.
