Jammu, August 31 (Scoop News) – Taking note of prevailing situation in Kashmir valley BJP Spokesperson Dr. Nirmal Kamal today said the tug of war between the main opposition party leaders supported by the separatists and the ruling party appear to indulge in mud slinging acts instead of helping in controlling the mobs who are misguided and damaging their own interests.He strongly expressed that even after passage of almost two months the State Government,, has not been able to control the situation in the valley.
In a statement he said for the last 15 days particularly after the return of UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi from USA, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has shown concern with the deteriorated and out of control situation in the Kashmir valley and also gave assurances about the improvement but still the symptoms of improvement do not seem nearby. This despite the announcement of financial packages for the unemployed youth, for state government for some projects such as building of roads and power etc. and also stern warnings issued to anti-social elements nothing concrete has happened. The number of causalities is on increase and simultaneously harassment to the security forces is also increasing.
Dr. Nirmal Kamal further asserted that different self serving proposals such as Autonomy, Self-Rule etc. etc. so far suggested are dead proposals. The ruling government at the Centre should understand by now that total integration of the existing State of J&K with the country by removing Article-370 and taking back PoK is the only solution which can bring Jammu and Kashmir State back to the glory which the State enjoyed till 80s. This will also strengthen the secular fabric of the country. The decision makers at the Centre should first understand this hard fact as this is the only viable solution within the Constitution of India and the ruling government is capable of convincing the concerned groups in the valley about this.
The people from Kashmir valley in particular and Jammu & Kashmir in general can enjoy the benefits of better economic future otherwise the dragon who is spreading its tentacles fast in PoK, and in Gilgit will swallow the entire trouble some area leaving the State people particularly the separatists having regrets for all the times to come.
