Drugs in chess a ridiculous thought, says Anand

For a more skill oriented sport like Chess, drug test is a new issue to the players of the game. World champion and India’s greatest player Viswanathan Anand says drug testing in Chess is a ridiculous thought. It is a new issue to those outside the sports of Chess, who feel that performance enhancers are only for sports where speed, strenght and stamina play a big role. According to him the possibility of use of ‘performance enhancing drugs’ by Chess players is a ridiculous thought and subjecting the Chess players to drug testing is completely pointless.
