Urges To Cooperate With Police For Smooth Conduct Of Celebrations

Proddatur (GR-TYP-BIN): Deputy Superintendent of Police Ms. Pujitha Neelam held a review meet with the members of Dasara Festivities Committee in Conference Hall of Police Station – 2 on October 1. Addressing at the meet, the DSP advised the members of committees to install CCTV Cameras for carrying out an effective surveillance at all venues as part of security measures for the forthcoming Dasara Celebrations.
During the meeting, the DSP asked the members to provide the dates and visits of VVIPs to beef up the security. She also advised the members to cooperate with the police for the smooth conduct of the celebrations of Dasara and assured them that the police would leave no stone unturned to curb the untoward incidents and take people-friendly steps. Reacting to the request of the members, the DSP said that the additional police personnel would be deployed for the security arrangements from the neighboring districts.
- Tamilnadu Governor And Union Urban Minister Participate In Festivities
Aarya Vysya Association President B Ramamohana Rao informed the DSP that Governor of Tamilnadu Mr. Roshaiah and Union Urban Minister Mr. Venkaiah Naidu would participate in the festivities on October 16 and 19 respectively.
The members requested the DSP to ensure to turn Proddatur into a secure fortress during the ten-day Dasara Celebration by making the elaborate security arrangements. They also requested the Municipal Commissioner Mr. Pramod Kumar for better housekeeping and safe roads since the festivities are going to mark the 125th year.
Circle Inspectors Sathya Narayana, Maheswara Reddy, Sub-inspectors Javed, Mahesh and the members of various temple committees participated in the meeting.
