Jammu, November 08 (Scoop News)- Chief Secretary Madhav Lal today visited Civil Secretariat, Jammu and inspected the arrangements put in place before the opening of Civil Secretariat on 9th of November 2011in the city of temples after Durbar Move.
Madhav Lal visited various blocks of the Civil Secretariat and inspected the arrangements put in place in various wings housing different departments. He also inspected the corridor linking the mini-Sectt with the main Secretariat and the construction of pre fabricated block over Mini-Secretariat.
Chief Secretary was apprised that out of 32 rooms of pre-fabricated block over Mini Secretariat, 16 are completely ready and would be inaugurated by Chief Minister tomorrow.
Accompanied by Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal, Director Estate Khurshid Ahmed, Special Secretary to Chief Secretary R. K. Verma, other senior officers from GAD, Estate and other departments, Madhav Lal visited Sarwal and inspected the works on 32 double room employees’ quarters. It was apprised that 16 quarters are ready and the work on the remaining 16 is on war-footing.
