Earth Hour in Hong Kong

“Earth Hour” is a worldwide activity initiated by a Sydney citizen. Its aim is to invite people around the world as many as possible to switch off the light for an hour at the same time. This activity began in 2007, which means it is the third year to have this activity. Through this activity, everyone can feel the impotence of solving global warming.

I see the promotion of this activity in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and think it is very important and meaningful. I will join this activity and hope everyone on Groundreport can join it and promote it on the forums or blogs to let more people know it.

If you want to find more information, you can check its homepage here.

Let us change the Earth and make it better together.

Saturday, March 28, 8:30-9:30pm, switch off your light.
