Earthquake Hits Japan, 6.8 Magnitude

The US Geological Society has confirmed that a 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit about 100 miles from Tokyo on the Honshu coast of Japan. See the latest update on the USGS site. Earthquakes with a magnitude above 5 are considered more serious.
