May Each Of You Have A Blessed Easter Day – “God has fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he has raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day I begotten you. And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.” (Acts: 13: 33 – 34)
Barbara’s Poetry From The Heart Corner
Every year at this time
I sense a terrible pain
but I’ve read in God’s word
Jesus didn’t suffer in vain.
God spoke to Jesus
a trip will be made
to give your life for others
without any blame.
Jesus lugged His heavy cross
up Calvary’s Hill that day.
He never asked for help
and He never turned away.
Jesus was beaten and spat on
crowned with thorns
He never flinched or uttered
any angry words.
He proved He was God’s son
on that dreadful day…
Christians rejoice and give praise
Jesus Christ rose on the third day.
Praise Your Holy Name, Jesus!
