30-Minute Afternoon Webinar Will Address Global Sustainability Challenges in Business Administration
On Thursday, November 21, Ecotech Institute will hold a 30-minute afternoon webinar, “Business of Sustainability,” that explores the growing awareness surrounding global sustainability practices in business administration. According to an Accenture survey, only 32 percent of CEOs are confident that the global economy is on track to support a rapidly growing population, and only 33 percent report that their business is making appropriate efforts to address sustainability changes.
This webinar will tackle the topic of building a sustainable business. The fast-paced session will help attendees recognize the importance in sustainability practices for company growth, identify the types of employees needed to jumpstart these business administration initiatives, and prepare to build a sustainability portfolio. Tiffany Burton, Program Director at Ecotech, will host the event.
“Global sustainability is a reactive topic because of rapid population growth. Businesses are learning best practices as they go along, and learning from each other,” said Burton. “The most difficult aspect about sustainable business practices is finding employees who understand its importance. Through this webinar, we will help attendees plan sustainability initiatives and highlight how Ecotech prepares its graduates to help support sustainable global companies.”
The webinar is broken up into two parts: a 20-minute presentation, followed by a 10-minute question and answer session.
