Egypt stops female circumcision

The Economist reported that Egypt had finally put a stop to the brutal practice of circumcizing its beautiful women by removing their clitoris as a means to purify them.

At least, this would put a stop, once and for all, to the notion that Egyptian women are really that hot  so that there’s a strong need for them to be circumcized. In the first place, why should the Egyptian society be afraid of just leaving its women to decide and to feel what is natural and God-given, rather than control them. Besides, it doesn’t say in the Holy Bible that women should undergo such a terrible ordeal in the hands of those who think they are pure enough. Of course, the bible says men should be as was experienced by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Religious believers said this is one way of making the women purified. In what sense? It just doesn’t sound logical in the truest sense of the word. We still believe that mind is supreme over the heart. But there are instances when the heart dominates the mind, which ia truism these days. And normally, this experience is common among individuals with above-average intelligence. Now, the question lies on what will happen if some Egyptian or African women have remained uncircumcized? Will they, and so with the rest of those who practice this ritual, go wild? Hopefully, not.
