An eight year old from London is thought to have broken the record for being the youngest person to take part in a wing-walk. The youngster used his grandfather’s aeroplane to help him complete the challenge.
Tiger Brewer took part in the record-breaking at at the Rendcomb Airfield based in Gloucestershire. During the flight he reached heights of 1,000 feet and flew at an estimated 100mph.
There were two witnesses on hand who will now send their account of the event to the Guiness Book of Records.
After the wing-walk Tiger said he had been frightened at first. He told the BBC: "Once in the air it was amazing,"
At the moment the record is held by Guy Mason, who is the son of Nick Mason from Pink Floyd. Guy Mason was just 11 when he took part in a wing-walk back in 2001.
