Election Campaign amid suicide bomb attacks

 

Election Campaign in Pakistan is so far peaceful in a sense that no major violent clash among competing political parties is witnessed yet, Mian Nawaz Sharif and his brother Mian Shebaz Sharif leaders of Pakisatn Muslim League (N) government for alleged rigging plans at polling day on 8th of January 2008, Muhtarima Benazir Bhutto is attracting large crowds during her public meetings, in Baluchistan millions of people turned up to a public meeting addressed by her last week, her victory in elections is quite eminent now, she seems to be full of confidence and her party candidates are also striving hard to win their seats, proud of their previous performance leaders of PML(Q) are confident of their victory too, overall behavior of competing leaders of political parties their candidates and workers is quite good and they are tolerating existence of each other so far.

56 precious lives are lost on Eid day suicide bomb attack on a mosque in Charsada district of NWFP, four suspects are arrested so far by NWFP police because of their alleged involvement in terrorist activity, and federal information minister Mr. Asif Ali Memon has said that international community is helping Pakistan government to hold elections in peaceful environment, he has condemned the suicide bomb attack on mosque in Charsada and has further added that any complaints regarding  any possible rigging plan on polling day shall be brought into notice of Pakistan Election Commission authorities so that it can take prompt action to ensure fair play.
