Election Conclave 2008

‘Care Taker government in Pakistan is absolutely neutral and will conduct fair and free elections in Pakistan, Associated Press of Pakistan shall provide equal coverage to all the political parties contesting election 2008, Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal is in secure hands and apprehensions displayed in Western media are baseless, no terrorist can reach or capture Pakistan’s nuclear assets,’ while addressing media men at election conclave 2008 in Holiday Inn Islamabad on Thursday 13-12-2007.

‘Transparent ballot boxes are provided to each polling station to avoid any sort of rigging, previously ballot boxes made of steel were used by election authorities, now more then two hundred thousand ballot boxes made of transparent mirror are imported from china to avoid rigging like prior placing of ballots in ballot boxes, two thousand observers will come from USA to monitor elections in Pakistan,’ Mr.Kanwar Dilshad of Pakistan Election Commission has said.
