Srinagar, March 10: (Scoop News)-An affectionate farewell was accorded to Khawaja Farooq Renzushah, Director Urban Local Bodies at an impressive function held at Directorate of Local Bodies Kashmir here today. Soon after Kh. Renzushah reached the old secretariat premises entire staff including officers and officials were waiting for their Director in whose honour they had organized farewell function.
Kh. Farooq Renzushah was presented a shawl and other gifts by the employee association of the department.
Various officers and officials spoke on the occasion and lauded the role of Farooq Renzushah played by him in mitigating various problems of the employees of the department confronting them since a long period. The executive officers said that during the short span of his tenure. Kh. Farooq Renzushah added many feathers into the cap of the department and worked for its strengthening.
They said that it was Kh. Renzushah that town maps were prepared and have been placed at all the units of the department, besides providing Internet facilities in the department. The Executive officers said that Farooq Renzushah Sahib infused new blood in departmental functioning and several developmental works across the Kashmir division were initiated under various State and Central schemes. They assured that they would continue to follow his directions issued off and on for the welfare of the department.
Those who spoke on the occasion include Manzoor Ahmad Pampori, President, Anees Chowdhary, Syed Noor-u-Din, Bashir Ahmad Dar, Ghulam Ahmad Magray, Mohammad Yaqoob Shah and Zahoor Ahmad, AEE.
Mukhtar Ahmad in his vote of thanks expressed gratitude to Khawaja Farooq Renzushah for streamlining department during the functioning of the department.
Later, the Director Local Bodies while addressing the employees assured them that he would continue his support to employees of local bodies department at any stage for solving their genuine problems. He expressed his gratitude to the officers and officials for the cooperation extended by them during his tenure in the department.
He said he could succeed in making the department more vibrant only due to their cooperation.
