Jammu,July 20 (Scoop News) – J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said that at present our state is going through a very sensitive stage as the perpetrators of violence do not want peace and prosperity to prevail here and that’s the reason they are continuously disrupting our work season since past three years.
Addressing party workers meeting here today, the Chief Minister said that such inhuman elements can never feel the pain and agony of poor kashmiris whom they use for their vested interests. He said due to their mischievous and malafide activities innocent people are killed.
Lambasting the enemies of peace, Omar said that such elements not only want to destroy our tourism season, divide the three regions of the state on communal and regional basis, also wish to ensure that the dream of Shere-e-Kashmir of ‘Naya Kashmir’ is not realized. They are making every efforts to see that no development work is executed and the Central funds released for the purpose go absolutely waste. He said that District Development Board meetings are being successfully conducted in every district to thwart their nefarious designs and ensure execution of development works to achieve the target within stipulated time frame.
Asserting that the development works would continue with accelerated pace despite difficult situation in some parts of valley, Omar asked the people to be part of peace and development process.
Exuding confidence that the Central support is fully with the state government, the Chief Minister said that the there is no need to fear as the government is fully prepared to tackle any situation, fight the evil designs of enemies and achieve our goal of prosperous and peaceful Kashmir.
Omar said that the tradition of Awami Mulakats would be revived to reach out to the public, assess their problems and redress their grievances on the spot. He said public darbars would be conducted at tehsil level both at Jammu and Kashmir. Complimenting the employees for not falling pray to the evil motives of the anti-national elements, Abdullah said that we are committed to serve the public and as such the employees should be prompt and responsive to the public issues at all levels.
