15 September 2012, Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Innovator’s Forum
(JKIF) celebrated 42nd engineer’s day here today. The day is
celebrated all over the country to commemorate birth anniversary of
the greatest Engineer Sir M. Visvesvaraya, Bharat Ratna.
Speaking on the occasion, C.E.O JKIF Er. M.M.Idrees Ul Haq beigh who
is also an young Innovator of Jammu and Kashmir said “The line of work
of engineer is not only for fiscal development but also for ecological
care, Young engineers should be encouraged to put their thoughts for
betterment of the social order through their engineering endowments.
Lakhs of Engineering graduates are coming out every year from various
parts of the country. Colleges should commemorate this day with
seminars, model competitions, paper presentation about times of yore
to present scenario in Indian Engineering. Engineers Day should be a
day in which all gusto minds in Engineering sector should be treated
with zealous by the establishment. Other ways this day will be ebb
from history as time passes.”
The main focus of discussion was spent on trendy and new upcoming
technologies. Some Alumni of different colleges share their emotional
part of their engineering college life which they miss a lot. JKIF is
also going to celebrate a week long program in the different schools
and colleges through its intensive series of lectures and seminars, so
as to tempt the young minds of Jammu and Kashmir towards new
inventions.
