Chitral: Wildlife Department Chitral with Collaboration of World Wide Fund for Nature Pakistan, Chitral conducted one day Training Workshop for the School/College Teachers in Chitral on Formation of Nature Club in School/College Level. Mr. Imtiaz Husain DFO Wildlife Chitral said that School children are said to be the main messengers of information to their household, so Under Nature Club formation sought to raise awareness of conservation of Nature Resources and its importance among children in schools. Mr. Shafiqulah Khan, Field Biologist WWF-Pakistan Chitral said It is possible to change schoolchildren’s attitudes through awareness programmes highlighting the importance of protecting their environment. Mr. Ajaz Ahmed, CDO Forest said Nature Clubs and Conservation Extension programmes can encourage students to take more interest and play a greater role in environmental conservation initiatives.
During a daylong Training workshops, Presentation of On Nature Club Formation, Nature Resources and their Conservation, Climate Change and its impact where given to the participants by the Resources. The Training workshop was attended by Teachers, Students and Local Wildlife staffs in District Chitral.
