Powerful storms ripped through Epsom, NH and surrounding areas today killing one person, damaging hundreds of homes and prompting the governor of New Hampshire to declare a state of emergency.
Around lunchtime, authorities issued a tornado warning in Epsom, NH and many believe that a twister did touch down and damage houses and power lines. Devestating winds and damage consistent with tornados took the life of one Epsom, NH resident. The community set up a shelter in a local school to temporarily house those whose homes were destroyed in today’s storm.
