Evangelizing Jesus Holy Commission Commanded

Almighty God and Christ Jesus saw an urgency to have this done, therefore Jesus sent out not just the original 12 apostles, but also recruited an additional 70 or more disciples sending them out.

Jesus felt this commission so compelling a task that He sent out Ananias to seek Saul, the strongest persecutor of Jesus and Christianity, to recruit him. Saul or the Apostle Paul as we know him, carried out Jesus Commission from Jerusalem to Rome itself carrying out Jesus Command.

KJV MATTHEW: 28: vs. 19-20 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:"

KJV MARK: 16: vs. 15-16 "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved and he that believeth not, shall be damned."

KJV LUKE: 24: vs. 46-48 "Thus it is written and thus it behoved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witness of these things."

2012 years ago, this was Jesus commission to His Apostles, His disciples, to go out and to teach the Gospels, His teachings God’s Word to all nations, all the world, a commission that has been passed down to each and every man or woman freely declaring themselves to be Christian, and a follower of Jesus Christ.

As Christians, as disciples of Jesus Christ, whether we are parish pastors, or ministers, or simply lai-persons, our primary, our number one task, our one and only commission assigned by Jesus Himself is to evangelize share and spread the word and teachings of Jesus to any and all persons in all nations throughout the world, and for those who hear and believe and accept Jesus as their true lord and saviour, to baptize them.

Christians, the "Church of Christ" seems to have become stagnated, procrastinating their obligations concerning this commission, and since it is the only one thing that God and Jesus, Jesus the one who permitted Himself to be crucified, for our sin, has ever really asked of us, in payment for His magnificent gift of restoring our spiritual justification through His crucifixion and resurrection, why is this request by Jesus and God, no longer thee most important task for all Christians?

Church leaders, parish pastors and ministers, for whatever their particular reason, have chosen to drift away from this responsibility, deciding to focus on topics like parish morality, and whether or not a "Gay Person" has the right to attend church and to get to know God and Jesus in their parish or not. Or whether a person who is a cross-dresser, or cross-gendered, has the right to attend church and know God and Jesus Christ.

The Roman Catholics have opted to do not much of anything regarding Jesus Commission of evangelizing over the past few years. Their main focus seems to be on seeing just how much money they can drain out of the pockets of their hard working congregation for either tigtheing, which mostly goes to filling the coffers of the Vatican, or to parish repairs. Their second major focus is on simply getting the seats filled on a Sunday, for two very obvious reasons, going to mass is boring for the most part, and let us not forget the coverups of all of the Catholic Churches sinful promiscuity between the priests and altar servers.

The newest, most current of distractions, all the various church denominations seem to be taking up and focusing on, is one that every person believer or non-believer, every religion, every Christian Denomination will at sometime have to face, if the Holy Bible is to be believed. It is a problem a situation that according to the Bible all will face, but absolutely no one will be able to anticipate, or avoid. I’m referring to the belief by not all but many Christian denominations, that just possibly in December 2012, the whole population of earth, might maybe face the "Great Rapture" to be immediately followed by seven years of "The Great Tribulation or Armegeddon" followed by satan and all of his followers being hurled into the "Lake of Fire" and the end of the world as we know it.

The problem with this distraction is simple to see though, since there seems to be little or no focus on Jesus Commission to His Apostles, and us as Christian followers, to carry on this task to see to it that every person on earth at least knows about Jesus and how belief in Him can bring about spiritual salvation, as well as baptizing all who seek it, until this task is completed, there can be no Rapture, there can be no Great Tribulation, no punishing of satan, no end of the world. We have a job Jesus has asked us to do. Yet we choose to procrastinate, treating it like a hobby that we do, if and when we get around to it, rather than taking it as a very serious undertaking assigned to us by the one who gave us life, and who sacrificed himself being crucified and resurrected, for the remission of our sins, as He was sinless.

This is not to say that performing charitible acts of helping those less fortunate, those striken by natural disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, those suffering from diseases, starvation, and other calamities whether at home or in some far away land like Pakistan, or China, or anywhere in the world should not be our concern.

One cannot be expected to hear and to learn about God and Jesus, if one is hungry or sick and in need of aid, furthermore trying to teach people with such needs, without being cared for first would be putting the cart before the horse.

The other faiths of the world, the Jews, the Muslims, and the rest are not even aware of this commission ordered by Jesus therefore they do nothing, but as Christians why is it that we are not doing much of anything towards it either, after all we chose to become Christian, we chose to follow Jesus Christ, we chose to take up our crosses as Jesus asked.
