Even The Birds Require Nourishment

Poetry From The Heart

I’m never alone as I walk in this land
season’s come and go leaving a windswept ego.
The moments I have with God are valuable
filling me with words of wisdom, principles and experience.
I’ve never unaided or hid from His light of guidance
leading me in directions of truth and liability.

I’m not afraid to reach out and share love
to aid a wilted limb or an expiring flower
to feed the birds and critters their nourishments.
There’s not a limb existing on earth
not needing a tender touch, a kind word, or love
nothing survives without feelings and a kindred spirit.

I’m not alone as I walk in this land
there’s security and confidence knowing God’s there.
Big stones become pebbles and obstacles outlets
permitting passage as difficult time’s surface.
I’ll tread my journey knowing He is there
I’m never alone as I walk in my life.
