Peshawar: A pro-Taliban militant named Shakir Din was killed and his two accomplices wounded by their own bomb while planting them to the office of the NGO Khwendo Kor (Sisters Home) in Bannu, North Westren Frontier Province of Pakistan on Monday.
Khwendo Kor is a non-profit, non-government and non-partisan organization which is working for the development of women and children in Pakistan.
According to Pakistani media, Shakir Din, Mohammad Sabir and Nazir Khan were planting bombs in the back side of the Khwendo Kor Shagi Road office when the explosives went off killing Shakir Din and wounding the others.
The wounded extremists were immediately arrested and evacuated to a hospital in Peshawar where they are in critical condition, reported the media.
The police have found two hand grenades, two home-made bombs, 40 thousand Pakistani rupees, mobile phones and some other materials.
The militants and extremists, especially in the tribal areas of Pakistan, are continuously attacking music centers, clinics, schools, NGOs and other social networks to terrorize the people.
