Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws has on-loan Stoke defender Lewis Buxton available after he was given permission to play by his parent club but Chelsea midfielder Jimmy Smith, on loan since August, will not be included so as not to be cup-tied ahead of his return to Stamford Bridge next week.
Wade Small (eye), Francis Jeffers (groin) and Steve Watson (hip) all came through unscathed against Coventry last weekend after returning from injury while youngsters Rocky Lekaj, Nathan Modest and Luke Boden are all expected to retain their places in the squad.
