The program came in action when the deadline of the Constitution assembly is about to end and the country is looking for a solution to end this political deadlock. From the past 3 years, after Nepal was declared a Federal Democratic Republic a unicameral body of 601 members was formed to make the new constitution. With the bad image of constitution assembly members getting involved in irregular activities and they not being able to complete their task in the stipulated time has further build up the pressure.
According to the organizers, “We are here to tell the politician that we exist. We have been non existence for many years to them. As they claimed that they worked for us and right now we are here to make that point as they have become very irresponsible toward their duties and responsibilities. We have been be bound to come out like this. People are really frustrated and face book being a popular medium we initiated this, our intensions are very clear to raise awareness and regarding the constitution. We are not affiliated to any organization ort politics. We have come upfront being a Nepal and that’s what we want our introduction to be.”
The program also highlights a signature campaign where the collected signature and writing would be submitted to the CA members.
