Global cloud HR scaleup recognised for explosive +1,200% growth over last 3 years
Global cloud HR provider, Fairsail, today features in The Sunday Times annual Tech Track – one of the most prestigious listings for rapidly growing UK technology companies. The Reading-based company placed 21 in the 100-strong list of high-growth tech talent.
The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 was first published in 2001 and celebrates UK tech success stories on the basis of revenue growth. Fairsail won its place on the list in recognition of its rapid expansion, growing +1,200% over the last three years, and doubling its staff in the past year alone.
Released in September each year, The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 listing is compiled by the research company, Fast Track, and is open to privately-owned businesses with sales between £5m and £50m per annum. The programme is designed to recognise the top 100 technology, digital media and telecoms companies, and ranks them according to average sales growth over the previous three years.
Fairsail’s global cloud HRMS (HR management system) has proven exceptionally successful in helping small to mid-sized multinational organisations transform the way in which they acquire, engage, manage and develop their workforces. In the first half of 2016, Fairsail’s revenue grew 90 percent compared to the same period in 2015.
Key to this rapid growth been a significant increase in customer success with a continual stream of new brands joining the Fairsail community along with high customer retention rates, both critical factors for a successful cloud business. The company added 25 new customers in the first half of 2016 and now has a customer base accounting for more than 100k active users in over 130 countries. With customers across a wide variety of industry sectors, many of Fairsail’s customers are well known market leaders including Innocent Drinks, Skyscanner, PaddyPower Betfair, Klarna and thetrainline.com. Recent customer wins include Sage, Matchtech, Mitsui, Fircroft, and Colonial Group, all of which are proactively seeking to improve their people processes and deliver great employee experiences.
“Fairsail’s inclusion in this year’s Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 is a fantastic endorsement for our customers, our business and the people in it. We have made great strides in the cloud HR market over the past three years and as such, have created a real niche working with great mid-size businesses globally. We regularly win business against much larger – but less agile – competitors.” said Adam Hale, CEO at Fairsail.
“As a business, we’re very genuine in our enthusiasm for delivering an intuitive, global HR solution that helps these organisations to gain better workforce visibility and improve HR productivity, and which ultimately, reaps a quick ROI that can be sustained for the long term.
The whole Fairsail team is thrilled to have been named – something we could never have achieved without the support of our fantastic customers who continue to support our growth and scale with us,” said Hale.
He concludes: “We’d also like to extend our congratulations to all the other businesses that featured on this year’s list – Fairsail is in great company.”
Steve Langan, CEO of Hiscox Insurance Company, commented: “The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 never fails to impress and this year is no different. We are proud to be associated with it, not least as we support more than 40,000 technology companies across the UK and Ireland and see first-hand their tenacity and infectious ambition. Congratulations to all of the companies listed this year – the growth and innovation they demonstrate is highly commendable.”
