Before some days this news was highlighted in jammu and kashmir , the news was as follows::
Srinagar, Sep 1: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has
promoted Bashir Malik to the rank of DDG (News).
An official spokesman said Malik will continue to head news section
in Radio and Doordarshan.
“Malik has been awarded many times by Doordarshan for his outstanding
work. He has also been selected for last year’s media personality
award by State Government. It is due to his outstanding work that he
has toured many countries with Prime Minister and President of India.
He has authored six books in Urdu, Kashmiri and Hindi,” the spokesman
said.
i would like to point out some important remarks:
How come Mr. bashir malik is posted as DDG as in Doordarshan their is
no post of such rank in the news setup of Ministry of I&B? Previously
senior directors of program and engineering side were Re-designated as
DDG’s But so far as IIS is concerned no such designation is in
place.who is this official spokesman who is misleading the general
public about the fake designation? More over
This is the professional duty of any correspondent of the public
broadcaster to perform the assignments of reporting any dignitary any
where in the world.Their have been several correpondents covering the
VIP’s but none of them have claimed as their qualification for
publicity purposes.
