FARC’s Leader Confirmed To Have ‘Pushed Up The Daisies’

In a developing story, the Colombian government has said that the leader of the leftist rebel group known as the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) is dead. However, nothing is concrete or one-hundred percent confirmed yet. But, a Colombian official issued a statement that a source has given confirmation that the leader of FARC has died.

According to Juan Miguel Santos, the spokesman for Colombia’s Defense Ministry said that the leader known as “Tirofijo” is believed to have passed away due to a heart attack. Tirofijo’s real name is Pedro Antonin Marin. He also goes by the name of Manuel Marulanda Vilez. For many decades, Marulanda was the leader of FARC.

According to the US State Department, Marulanda was responsible for the expansion of FARC’s drug operations. Alvaro Uribe, Colombia’s President did not actually say Marulanda is dead. However, he maintained that the information came from a solid source. But, Uribe did not confirm Marulanda’s death. But, Uribe was quick to say that he hopes that Marulanda has died let alone died of a heart attack.

Santos bluntly said that if Marulanda is dead, he is probably burning in hell. It looks as if both Uribe and Santos had a lot of “interesting” things to say in regards to Marulanda’s apparent death by heart attack. Nothing is concrete, but it looks as if Uribe and Santos are jumping for joy in anticipation.

So far, the source has given confirmation that Marulanda has “pushed up the daisies,” “given up the ghost,” “burning in the fiery pits of hell,” “became worm food,” “received his halo,” “in a really grave situation,” “been immortally challenged,” “joined the majority,” “been kaput,” “feeding the fishes,” and so forth.

Regardless of what death euphemism is chosen, there looks to be plenty of people such as Uribe and Santos hoping that Marulanda is indeed dead.
