Bangladeshi girls wear gorgeous colourful dresses all the time. As a developing Asian country, Bangladesh is practicing and adopting fashionable products day by day. However, half of the people in Bangladesh are below economics. Still middle class and lower middle class people are trying to live fashionable and repute life. Modern fashion designers are contributing and making dresses and products targeting the middle class people now days. They are the main consumer for fashion market now.
Bangladeshi culture is very rich in terms of its history and it is different in many aspects. Fashion is motivating our new generation to show our culture and preserving our culture. The latest trends, styles maintained by different renowned brands are now available and everyone knows about them. Not only people of Bangladesh but also people all over the world are taking a quick look on the latest fashion of Bangladesh. People concerned about fashion in Bangladesh are now getting chance to compare different products of different brands and having greater freedom of choice within their grips. People in Bangladesh are now living in fashionable life. New trend has been changing the thought of our people.
Our designer are working hard to let the people wear own country’s dresses then the India. With cotton, they are blending the new fusion which is Jeans with fotua. It is a very common wear now days. As the country is developing this has been changed many years ago. Our previous generations like our mother they were used to wear shirt and jeans. Suddenly it was stop for many years. Now again that fashion is coming back because fashion is a cyclic process. Now girls are not behind. They again started to wear Western dresses. Many fashion houses are now emerging. Until now, it was a hobby for them who worn designer wear. Now everyone is thinking about wearing designers wear. Bangladeshi middle and elite girls brands cosmetics. And for lower middle class our cosmetic industry is making cosmetics on lower price. Therefore, cosmetics are available for everyone now. All class people can use cosmetics on daily basis now.
Fashion is very beautiful here. The practice of Bangladeshi culture is very bright and sober. Fashion means comfortable for this country. This is a warmth country so dresses made of cotton are most popular here. Salwar Kameeze is the regular wear for Bangladeshi girls. The salwar kameezes are always more stylish, much trendy, strikingly fashionable, and combined with traditional and contemporary design. Most designers of the gorgeous salwar kameezes have paid their attention in designing on cotton fabrics and most strikingly emphasized their quality largely to design on the dupattas as well. Designs are sometimes hand sewed, sometimes on machine embroidery and very colourful. Use of colour in any product is the main thing. Bangladeshi girls do fashion with so many things. They wear salwar kameeze, shaari, jeans, fotua and with that matching earrings, bangles, colourful tip on the forehead. Everything is so sober and colourful. Now they are taking get-up like Indians. This is happening because of the daily soap operas in India. The medium is television. Through television young and adult women are watching daily soap on Sony, Star TV, Zee TV channels are trying to adopt their culture. In the market called New Market in Dhaka there are several shaaris available, which are named, based on Indian daily soap’s female characters name. This is seem very funny to me. Not only shaari, salwar kameeze, bangles and sometimes earings are coming from India and they look similar as the dialy soap’s female character wears. This tendency is more inspiring the middle and upper class women a lot. Very few women in Bangladesh copy Western artist. And 1% girls do fashion on their own way. This is all about practicing the culture and tradition. Here the media is acting as a vital role. Television is working as the communication system between India and Bangladesh. Yes, it is true that India and Bangladesh culture is almost same but the way of wearing the salwar kameeze and shaari is bit different from the Indians.
