FDA announced today they are recalling the nonfat dried milk, cocoa, and other products processed at Plainview Milk Products Cooperative between 2007 to and 2008 as they could contain salmonella.
Salmonella can cause serious infections, especially to people with fragile immune systems. Though so far there is no illnesses reported, FDA said it is tracking distribution of these products, reported AP.
Affected retailers including Meijer Inc., of Michigan, CPI Foods Inc. of Dallas, Precision Foods Inc. of St.Louis and McClancy Seasoning Co. of South Carolina.
