Bringing this concept to Kashmir Valley which has a Muslim Majority Population, A young Entrepreneur from North Kashmir’s Kupwara District Firdous Baba has decided to start Online Company Sheen to provide services related to the ritual of animal sacrifice to the people of Kashmir.
Firdous Baba states – “ As a matter of fact while the number of online companies providing services to facilitate the ritual of animal sacrifice on Eidul Azha has increased substantially since its introduction few years ago in different parts of the world I have decided via my enterprise provide same services to the people of my native land Kashmir . The online method will provide all services associated with the holy sacrifice, including selection of the animal to be sacrificed, hiring of a butcher and distribution of the meat amongst the less privileged sections.We will first kickstart from the Srinagar City and accordingly expand to entire Kashmir.”
Firdous Baba adds that – “Customers can even browse through pictures of the available animals online and make selections on the basis of weight. Payments are then made via credit or debit cards.”
Firdous Baba believes that in order to attain self sufficiency in meat production more youth shuld start livestock business. “ Achieving Self- Sufficiency in the present world should be the mantra of every prospering nation and I dream that Kashmir soon achieves self- sufficiency in meat production soon.”
