First Aid When Experiencing Heart Attack if You’re Alone

What if you are driving and you are on your way home. Suddenly you experience extreme pain in your arm and jaw. You are still far from a hospital and think that you are experiencing a heart attack. Eventhough you know CPR but doesn’t know how to use it to yourself.

Here is a first aid you can use when you think you are suffering from a heart attack.

1. If you are alone  and suddenly experience a heart attack and no one can possibly help you, remember that a person that  experiencing irregular beating of his/her heart and slowly  becoming unconscious  only have 10 seconds  remaining before he becomes totally unconscious.

A person in  this situation should cough hard and do this repeatedly .

2. One need to breathe long and deep before coughing again to prduce sputum going inside the chest.

3. Deep breathing and coughing should be repeated every 2 seconds without stopping until  there is  someone to help you or if you think the beating of your heart becomes normal.

Deep breathing can give oxygen into your lungs and coughing will send pressure to your heart to again pump blood. The pressure in your heart will help you to have a normal heartbeat again.

In this way you can reach the hospital and ask for help.
