The first swine flu Case in Sri Lanka was detected this evening as an eight-year-old Sri Lankan boy based in Australia was found Swine Flu positive on his arrival at the Katunayaka International airport in Colombo.The boy, who arrived Sri Lanka with his parents for a vacation, transferred to the fever hospital in IDH,Colombo.for further treatment.
During a special press briefing held at the Ministry of Health this evening regarding the swine flu case, ministry officials urged the people to be aware of the symptoms of the swine flu as it spreads quickly within the community.
