Hundred of flood and Earthquake victims protested at Mastuj for thier right.

CHITRAL: Hundred of flood and earthquake affected people of Sub Division Mastuj protested and sit in at main square Mastuj some 110 KM from here. The anger protestors also blocked main Gilgit, Mastuj and Chitral road. They also held a public meeting under the chair of Abdul Reman vice Nazim of Mastuj.
Addressing to the public meeting cum protest agitation they said that this area badly affected by flood in July 2015 and by earthquake on 26th Oct 2015 later on but it totally ignored by authorities. They said that Additional Assistant Commissioner Mastuj Muhammad Saleh and Tehsildar Noorddin snub them and not issued relief cheques to affected people despite visiting their offices time and again.
They alleged that these officers issues these cheques to their near and dears one and totally deprived real deserving people who victims by flood and earthquake. They said that government announced and released fund for blacktopping of Booni to Shandor road but the fund was embezzled by contractors and staff of communication and works department whose also were arrested by anti corruption but after dealing with them they still performing their duties without any punishment.
They said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif announced for remittance of agriculture bank loans but bank staff still demanding for their loan.
They demanded for early construction of Booni to Shandor road , distribution of financial relief cheques among the affected of Mastuj sub Division and issuance of notification regarding remittance of bank loan.
They also demanded for conducting inquiry regarding misusing of power and distributing of cheques to near and dears by district administration and should take action against those staff who involved in this blunder. They also offered Fatiha for the soul of 4deceased of Kosht. They said that Frontier Works Organization had fixed a temporary bridge with a cost of million rupees who collapsed in river as a result 4 persons were died and they are still missing in river.
MNA Chitral Shahzada Iftikharuddin also participated in protest public meeting who also demanded for giving relief to affected people of Mastuj Tehsil. A large number of people including of women folk and ladies councilors also participated in sit in and protest.
