A bouquet of flowers may be a traditional way of expressing love for the female heart; but what about weeds? If the researchers are to be believed, they work just as well but the only thing is the couple in question should be dolphins.
A team of scientists has carried out a study and has found that like humans, male dolphins carry objects and twigs to impress females, rather than simply playful behavior as earlier believed. According to Dr. Tony Martin of the British Antarctic Survey, “If the object carrying was merely playfulness, females and juveniles would have been expected to carry objects but they do not”.
